WPO and BCO Joint Workshop 2026

The Winnipeg Pops Orchestra (WPO) and the Brandon Community Orchestra welcome you to join our bi-annual joint-workshop to be held September 18 to 20th, 2026. This year's workshop will be held at the WPO's host location, St. George's Anglican Church at 168 Wilton Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The workshop will begin on Friday evening with registration, light snacks, mingling, and a full run though of our 4 workshop selections. Saturday's schedule will include two clinics from our qualifed experts, and three full-group rehearsals. Saturday lunch and the full weekend's nutrition breaks are included with your registration. The weekend will conclude with a final run through on Sunday afternoon, followed by a concert at 3:00pm for friends, family and the community!

Our Guest Conductor

Our guest conductor for this year will be Andrea Bell. Born in Winnipeg, Andrea holds Bachelor Degrees in both Music and Education from the University of Manitoba and a Masters Degree in Cello Performance from the University of BC. A passionate music educator, Ms. Bell is the Director of the String Orchestra Program at Westgate Mennonite Collegiate, and is the conductor of the Winnipeg Mennonite Community Orchestra and the Winnipeg Youth Symphony Orchestra.
